Bias Tugal takes its name from the beach, on the south side of Padangbai, to the right of the ferry channel. The shallow part is flat: sand and coral patches, with large colourful leather corals. The slope starts around 8 m.
Turtles and whitetip reef sharks are often here. Nudibranchs and orangutan crabs are on the coral. On the fans, around 20–30 m, pygmy seahorses are sometimes found. An eagle ray is only occasional. Many dives stop around 30 m, although the slope continues deeper. The map lists about 5–25 m. Visibility is often 15–30 m. Entry is by boat.
