Garden Eel Point is at the westernmost end of Menjangan Island. The wall drops to about 40 m, then ends in a sand channel. A large colony of garden eels lives in that sand. The coral slope behind it rises again into the shallows.
A usual dive is about 4–30 m. The passing current draws fish schools and also keeps the coral alive. Whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, tuna, trevally, and barracuda patrol. Angelfish, snappers, and triggerfish are on the wall. Entry is by boat. This site is for divers who are already comfortable in current.
