Goa Kelelawar, Sangiang, Selat Sunda

Sangiang, Selat Sunda

Goa Kelelawar is on the west side of Sangiang Island, below the hill. The cave opens to the sea. Large numbers of bats roost in the upper part, and seawater is below. Waves come in.

This is not a place to swim inside the cave. The bat guano smell is strong, and the waves are unpredictable. The map lists about 10–20 m, which is the water at the mouth. Go by boat from Anyer. Look from the mouth, and do not go in.
