Hans Reef is on the north of Gili Air. A coral mound stands on a gentle sandy plain, with outcrops around it. The top of the mound is a cleaning station for green turtles.
The depth is about 6–25 m. Entry is by boat. The site is used for training dives and for night dives. By day, cuttlefish and blue-spotted stingrays are around the mound. At night, bobtail squid, coconut octopus, and dwarf cuttlefish come out.
