Kerita Tol, Komodo

Komodo

Kerita Tol is on the south coast of Gili Motong, in the Molo Strait, in the same area as Apple Orchard. The water is cold because of upwelling, and the plankton makes visibility rise and fall.

Manta rays are often reported here, and whale sharks are sometimes mentioned. Both follow the plankton, not a timetable. The map lists about 10–30 m. Entry is by boat. The calmer season for the south is about October to April, when the sea is not as rough.
