Langkoi Rock is a submerged pinnacle southeast of Langkoi Island. The rock drops quickly into deep water. The site is very exposed: strong current, and sometimes a large surge. On a calm day the pinnacle is hard to find from the surface.
From July to September, grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, hammerheads, and bronze whalers can gather here. At the south point, around 30 m, resident potato cod live. Other pelagic fish pass too. Enter up-current, descend, and stay on the wall. Entry is by boat. This is not a dive for someone who is not yet calm in current.
