Mini Wall, Komodo

Komodo

Mini Wall is the north face of an island near Labuan Bajo. There is almost no current, visibility is usually good, and the dive is used as a warm-up. Enter on the east side of a long low rocky point, then swim counter-clockwise at 20–25 m.

After the point, the slope becomes a wall that drops to about 35 m, then sand in front of the beach. Garden eels are on the sandy slope. Shrimp gobies and sweetlips are common. The hard and soft coral is good. Mandarinfish are sometimes seen in the shallows. The map depth is about 25–40 m. Entry is by boat.
