What the words mean

NOAA: The oxygen minute limits for a diver who is working. The higher the PPO2, the fewer minutes you may stay.
PPO2: PPO2 stands for partial pressure of oxygen. This table uses rows from 0.6 to 1.6.
Single-dive limit: The maximum minutes for one exposure at that PPO2.
24-hour limit: The total minutes allowed at that PPO2 across the whole day, when several dives are added together.
PPO2 row: The PPO2 is rounded up to the next higher row. 1.35 uses the 1.4 row.
Extra for the day: How many minutes longer the daily limit is than the single-dive limit. On some rows, the two limits are the same.
