Pemuteran Biorock is in the village bay, not at Menjangan Island. Steel frames sit on the bottom, and coral grows over them. The water is very shallow, about 2–8 m, so snorkelling from the beach is used as well.
Visibility in this bay is shorter than at the island, and the reef is more modest. The fish that pass depend on the day. Entry is from shore. Do not hold the frames, and do not stand on the coral.
