Tanjung Loh Sera, Komodo

Komodo

Tanjung Loh Sera is the southern point of the bay. The wall is long, and offshore there are underwater pinnacles. Dogtooth tuna circle the point and those pinnacles.

On the wall there are turtles, very large trevally, potato cod, malabar grouper, schools of bumphead parrotfish, Napoleon wrasse, and mantas. The current can be strong. Divers who are not yet comfortable in current are better staying on the wall. There is snorkelling on the northern shore of this cape. The depth is about 10–40 m. Entry is by boat.
